Brief Bio

Master Yap Boh Chu is a Graduate of Swinburne Istitute of Technology (now Swinburne University), Melbourne, Australia with a Double Major in Information Technology and Accounting.
Boh Chu first started his career as an accountant in the Australia in the mid 1980’s slowly graduating towards the IT field. In 1992, Boh Chu returned to Malaysia and together with his brother formed a IT Company providing system Integration services to the publishing and architectural industry.
Towards the late 90’s, Boh Chu had his first hint of his true calling of feng shui when he started to seriously learn feng shui from his late father; Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai, one of the foremost Feng Shui Masters of this current age. The learning process was exceedingly fast for Boh Chu. As his father’s son, he was already exposed to Feng Shui from an early age, needing only a more structured learning to put into perspective the knowledge he had absorbed over the years.
By 2001, Boh Chu was already established as a practising feng shui consultant. His experience in both the building development industry and in IT stood him in good stead, creating a unique approach and understanding to feng shui that provided for a modern and professional experience yet being true to the traditional art of feng shui.
Sharing the late Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai’s vision for preserving the art of feng shui, together, Boh Chu and Grand Master Yap set up the Yap Cheng Hai Academy in 2003. Boh Chu diligently started everything from scratch – he developed the curriculum and syllabus with the advice of the Grand Master. He created the training materials and teaching aids for students of the academy. He is continuously putting the late Grand Master Yap’s thoughts, words and experiences into paper and slides.
In addition, he frequently conducts courses for all levels both online and live classes throughout the world. Some of his courses are also special requests from students who are familiar with his style of teaching.
As Grand Master Yap’s right-hand man, Boh Chu has helped Grand Master Yap in various mega projects as well as commercial buildings and residences throughout Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Sadly Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai departed in 2014. Boh Chu is now the successor and standard bearer to the Yap Cheng Hai Feng Shui Lineage and is determined to carry out his father vision of bringing authentic feng shui practice to the world and to help everyone have a better life through feng shui.
